Then last Sunday, April 18, Ravenna's City Auditorium was filled with auditioners for potential minor roles and choir members, and having-lotsa-fun-line-dancers. In all, about 75 tried out and brought families and friends to cheer them on. The excitement of the afternoon was heightened by the Hollywood-looking-set left from the prom. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Now's a good time to tell you about our fine volunteers on the project. Initially, only a few brave souls helped behind the scenes, maybe out of curiosity, but that's okay. However, now the numbers seem to increase exponentially each week. You can recognize many of them by the colors they wear...or actually, by their beauteous t-shirts designed and made by a new sponsor, Mr. B's Tees from Ravenna.
What a Great job to ALL of you! When you see these folks, thank them for their efforts or ask questions... I'm told they love that!: Pam Lammers, Marty Russell, Mar Musil, Betty Shrader, Sylvia Mason, Debra Reimers, Peggy Cranford, Megan Yutesler, Diane Farris, PastorValera and Jerry Heydenberk, Dean Buse, Bea Urwiller, Carmen Urwiller, Lois Johnston, Betty Svanda, Sharon Loy, and Duane Mulbach. Also thank the judges of the music auditions, Tom Schroeder, Norma Asher, Theresa Mingus, Geri Anderson, and Pam Lammers.
Among the many thanks I want to add a special note to Ravenna's wonderful Lion's Club – thanks for your support and hard work. Also, many new sponsors welcomed Ravenna's guests for the day including Ravenna's Senior Center, the Creamery, Flashbacks, Dew Drop Inn, Duckwalls, and Ravenna Super Foods I know more businesses would have participated if I'd been quicker, so apologize if anyone felt left out.
