With seven delicious chili's in the competition, Lori Wilkins of the Sandbar Restaurant took first place while Mike Behrendt's of Behrendt's BBQ landed a really close second. Ravenna's Marty Russell totally took the dessert taste test with her to-become-famous frosted cinnamon brownies.

Thanks to all of you, $2,300 was collected to pay to film The Boarder movie.
March 27th – auditions for the main characters to be held at the John Beasley Theater in Omaha.
April 11th -- (Sunday) - a Benefit Concert will begin at 2pm at the Grand Theater in Grand Island with great music by the Revival Band along with gospel singer Norma J. Houser of Omaha. Elton Flodman of Hordville has been busy promoting the event and will grace us with his own magnificent pipes. This is another fundraiser for The Boarder and the tickets ($12.00) can be purchased at Howard's Jewelry or at the door. Watch for flyers and more information.
April 18th -- Auditions for extras will be held on Sunday afternoon, 1pm to 5 pm at the Ravenna City Auditorium. Yes, I promise more information will be published soon, so keep your eyes on the Ravenna News and on our website: www.theboardermovie.com.
